Kamal Haasan expresses distress over video of child stabbing his poster

Kamal Haasan ended up on the negative end of the spectrum after his ‘Hindu extremism’ remark. Kamal Haasan wrote on a regional weekly that Hind Terrorism can’t be ignored but later explained that he mentioned ‘Hindu Extremism’ and not ‘Hindu Terrorism’.

A video was shared on Twitter where a 4-year-old child was seen stabbing a poster of Kamal Haasan tied to a pole. The child was wearing a dhoti and had applied ‘vibhuti’ (holy ash) in an attempt to show identify as a Hindu. A man’s voice is also heard from the background where he encourages the kid to stab the poster stating that Kamal Haasan is anti-Hindu.

Appalled after watching the video Kamal tweeted the following lines.

“My children. It’s better for one child to stab and kill me, my grown up brother speaks in Tamil and accuses me.

Nature will have the pleasure of killing me. Try killing me. I’ll surely win”, said the star.
